I've never been able to figure out what IIRC meant. It was always something I just ignored, skimmed over and hoped was not semantically important.
Well, I finally got sick of it and looked it up. There's a database of acronyms that seems pretty complete. It did have
IIRC, as well as
RTFM,
ROTFL and
MVC (which to me stands for Model-View-Controller not Motor Vehicle Collision).
