This creek is raging right now. I'm guessing we've had 5 to 10 inches of rain in the last week or so. (comments and photo)

Hard to get back and get a good view of the creek, down in the bottom it's full of willows and madrone. (comments and photo)

On the way down to the creek, look across at hillside. Madrones grow out of creek bottom, pines rise on opposite slope. Mist.

This particular trail starts in a little campground, abaondoned at this time of year.

This tree was in the campground. I love the way it projects, connecting the sky and earth.
